The National Union launches a new trade union initiative that includes education and the health sector

The National Union of Trade Unions and Users in Lebanon announced, in a statement, “the launch of a new trade union initiative in the context of its commitment to defending workers’ rights and consolidating the freedom of trade union work guaranteed by Lebanese laws and international agreements, especially the International Labor Organization Agreement No. (87) for union freedom and protecting the right And their needs. ”
He pointed out that “the launch of the initiative is:-The establishment of a union for workers in the education sector, which includes all groups of professors, teachers, administrators, logistical workers and services in the public and private sectors.-Establishing a union for health workers, which includes nurses, nurses, technicians, administrators and workers in various health and logistical fields, in the public and private sectors. The first trade union experiences that combine the public and private sectors under the supervision of the National Union, in a way that enhances the unity of workers and strengthens their negotiating position in facing economic, social and functional challenges. Awareness to introduce the goals of the union and the importance of trade union organization. Launching demands for the defense of rights and improving work conditions. Preparing for the contract of public societies and electing administrative bodies after completing the legal conditions for the foundation. A strong trade union movement capable of facing crises and preserving human rights and dignity.
