Today, Monday, the Ministry of Energy and Water issued a new schedule for fuel prices, which recorded a further decline after the Council of Ministers’ decision to suspend environmental fees came into effect.

The new prices are as follows:

98 octane gasoline: 2,256,000 LBP, down 44,000 LBP.

95 octane gasoline: 2,238,000 LBP, down 43,000 LBP.

Mazut (diesel oil): 1,835,000 Lebanese pounds, a decrease of 66,000 pounds.

Gas bottle: 1,127,000 Lebanese pounds, a decrease of 47,000 pounds.

This decline comes after the government’s decision to suspend the decree related to environmental fees, in a step that was directly reflected in the fuel price schedule, amid expectations that prices will continue to decline if the factors affecting the market stabilize.
