Samsung intends to launch new headphones under the name “Galaxy Buds On”, retreating from previous expectations that suggested they would be called “Galaxy Buds Able”.
The technical website “Android Headlines” revealed the details of the new version, including images showing the headphones in black, with expectations that the company will offer them in multiple color options. The design is characterized by the adoption of a clip-on installation mechanism, a design that intersects with models currently available in the market such as “EarFun Clip 2”, “Baseus Inspire XC1”, and “Anker Soundcore AeroClip”.
According to what was reported by the “Notebookcheck” website, the “Galaxy Buds On” headphones rely on open air conduction technology to transmit sound instead of bone conduction. This technology relies on small, directional speakers that broadcast sound and vibrations directly into the ear canal, allowing the user to be aware of his or her sound surroundings, but this design means there is no noise cancellation feature.
So far, Samsung has not issued any official announcements confirming these details, and the date of launching the headphones on the market remains unknown.
