The so-called “A.S.”, who was in his late seventies, was found dead inside his house located on Al-Hawoz Street in the Abu Samra area in the city of Tripoli, several days after his death.
Following the reporting of the incident, security forces and forensic experts went to the site, coinciding with the arrival of the Lebanese Red Cross ambulance teams. The body was examined and the necessary field procedures were taken, before it was transferred to Dar Al-Zahraa Hospital.
In this context, the competent authorities began their investigations to uncover the circumstances of the incident, awaiting the issuance of the coroner’s report to determine the official causes of death. Preliminary data indicate that the hypothesis of natural death is likely, provided that the final causes will be officially determined as soon as the competent medical reports are issued.
