Muhammad Naim Qassem, the son of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, issued an official statement in which he categorically refuted the allegations made by MP Paula Yacoubian, which linked him to the pharmaceutical warehouse that was subjected to a raid by the security services in the “Semaan Gallery” area.
Qassem described these accusations as “false and have no relation to the truth,” criticizing Yacoubian’s performance, and pointing out that her parliamentary position requires her to be responsible, investigate accuracy, and verify information before launching random accusations.
He explained that the entire case is in the custody of the competent security and judicial agencies that are familiar with all its details, stressing that these authorities are the only ones authorized to uncover the facts and determine responsibilities through official legal methods.
At the conclusion of his statement, Qasim hinted at resorting to the judiciary, stressing that he reserves his full right to sue “every party or individual whose name is falsely implicated in this case and without any evidence.”
