Central – Jounieh receives the stars of its team in basketball for the current season

In a rally sports and public celebration, the Central School Club-Jounieh received the stars of its basketball team for the 2025-2026 season in its closed sports hall, in the presence of school students, friends of the club and a constellation of official, sports, sponsors, press men and media.

The attendees of the club, Father Eli Saadeh, the head of the school’s fathers and deputy Keserwan Sheikh Farid Al -Khazen and Deputy Naama Afram, the head of the Lebanese Basketball Federation, Mr. Akram Al -Halabi, his Secretary -General Lawyer Charbel Michel Rizk, and the mayor of Jounieh, Engineer Faisal Afram, and his deputy Sheikh Rashid Al -Khazen (Chairman of the Central Club Board of Trustees), and His Excellency Consul Jacques Hakim (President of the Chamber of Commerce in Keserwan – Al -Fotouh), in addition to the professors: Tony Saif, Joseph Saadeh, Roger Abi Habla, Charbel Abi Raad, Professor Patrick Karam, Professor Atouni Younis, Rudolph Abi Nakhl, Roy Bou Maroun, Youssef El -Khoury, Mary France Group, Andvco Group in addition to members of the Administrative Committee of the Central Club, the club’s Board of Trustees, club heads, family, friends and old.

Launching the team

Sports journalist Anthony Majdalani presented the ceremony in an enthusiastic atmosphere interspersed with shouts, songs and firecrackers, and the team members entered each other as the team stars were made for the new season, accompanied by motivational comments for each player, and they are without arrangement:

At the end of the ceremony, Father Eli Saadeh gave a speech in which the team’s players, stressing the identity of the Monastic Central Club, and its concentration in the heart of Jounieh – the capital of Kesrouan, and his constant openness to cooperation with the municipality and supportive sectors.

And he said in his speech:

“There is no star who shines alone. We have the right to aspire, because basketball is not just a game, but a lifestyle. The successful team is the one who plays with his heart before his hand. ”
