Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji welcomed the decision of the United Arab Emirates to lift the ban on its citizens traveling to Lebanon, considering that it constitutes a message of confidence in Lebanon and in the path of the state regaining its role.

Raji said, in a post on the “X” platform, that the UAE’s decision to lift the ban on travel to Lebanon “deserves thanks and appreciation.”

He added that this decision “is a message of confidence in a country that has regained the reins of its political and security decisions, and evidence that Lebanon is moving steadily in the right direction.”

He stressed that “the more the state strengthens its presence, consolidates its sovereignty, and proceeds on the path of stability and reform, the more brothers and friends will rally around it, and countries will return to openness to Lebanon with confidence, believing that the future of this country is built through a strong state and a single national decision.”
