The Ministry of Finance announced, in a statement, that it had transferred all salaries of workers in the public sector and all military corps, in addition to the pensions of military and civilian retirees, to the Bank of Lebanon.

The Ministry explained that the Bank of Lebanon, in turn, began transferring these salaries and pensions to private banks, where they became available for withdrawal as of tomorrow morning, Tuesday, June 30.
