Each team that reaches the round of 32 will receive $11 million, which is the value of the reward for surpassing the group stage, after the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) agreed to increase the resources allocated to the participating teams by 15%, to reach $871 million.
In addition to this reward, each team participating in the tournament received $1.5 million to cover preparation costs, which means that Egypt, Algeria and Morocco guaranteed $12.5 million for each team.
In the event of victory in the round of 32 and qualification to the round of 16, the total reward value will increase to $16.5 million.
According to the 2026 World Cup rewards list, the World Cup champion will receive $50 million, compared to $33 million for the runner-up, $29 million for the third-place finisher, and $27 million for the fourth-place finisher.
As for the teams that finish the tournament between fifth and eighth place, they will receive $19 million for each team, compared to $15 million for the teams from ninth to sixteenth place, $11 million from seventeenth to thirty-second place, and $9 million from thirty-third to forty-eighth place.
The Egyptian national team had qualified for the round of 32 after finishing second in Group Seven with 5 points, on goal difference from leaders Belgium, setting a date with Australia.
The Moroccan national team also came through, after finishing second in Group C with 7 points, on goal difference behind Brazil, and is preparing to face the Netherlands.
