Tickets for the anticipated match between Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi and the Argentine national team were sold out within only about 90 minutes of their launch, following a record crowd turnout that reserved seats for the farewell match scheduled against the Benin national team on October 6 at the “Monumental” stadium in the capital, Buenos Aires.
Tickets were released on the “Deportick” electronic platform at exactly six o’clock in the evening local time on Thursday, immediately witnessing a large crowd crowd that led to thousands of fans being placed in virtual waiting lines, interspersed with complaints on social media platforms about difficulties in accessing the reservation system and waiting periods exceeding an hour for some users.

The tour includes two other “Tango” matches against the Bolivia national team on September 30 in the city of Cordoba, and the Burkina Faso national team on October 3 in Buenos Aires.
