Khreis: There can be no confrontation of challenges without unity and adherence to sovereignty

Member of the “Development and Liberation” bloc, MP Ali Khreis, stressed that confronting the challenges that Lebanon is going through requires greater national unity, adherence to rights, and defense of land and sovereignty, stressing at the same time the importance of science as one of the most prominent elements of strength in the face of difficult circumstances.

Khreis’s position came during his sponsorship of the “Amal Educational Institutions – Martyr Muhammad Saad Secondary School” celebration of the graduation of the “Resilience and Hope Regiment” of high school students, in the summer high school hall, in the presence of an educational, movement, scouting, municipal, and social crowd, along with the students’ families.

In his speech, Khreis addressed the future of generations in light of the circumstances that Lebanon and the region are going through, stressing the importance of adhering to science, and praising the scientific, technical and administrative development that “Amal Educational Institutions” is witnessing.

He considered that this development is the result of the care and care given by Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri to the institutions, and his keenness for them to remain edifices of education and building generations.

Khreis stopped at the significance of the name of the Martyr Muhammad Saad High School, considering that it bears the name of a leader who made science and resistance a path to defending humanity and the nation, and that graduating students from it represents a continuation of his message based on the fact that building the human being is an essential part of the nation’s strength.

He also pointed out that the month of August holds special significance in the memory of the Lebanese and southerners, as it is the month commemorating the disappearance of Imam Musa al-Sadr, who saw Lebanon as a strong homeland with its resistance, army and unity, stressing that this vision is still present in the journey of the Amal Movement and its institutions.

Regarding field developments, Khreis addressed the Israeli attacks, considering that Israel does not respect international conventions and resolutions, nor the simplest rules of law and humanity, stressing that confronting these challenges requires greater national unity, adherence to rights, and defense of land and sovereignty.

At the end of his speech, he congratulated “Amal Educational Institutions”, the administration, educational bodies, the graduating students and their families, wishing them a future full of success, giving and service to the country.

The celebration witnessed speeches by a number of graduates, in addition to a speech by the secondary school director, Muhammad Al-Abd, who stressed that graduation comes at an exceptional stage that Lebanon has experienced, especially the educational sector, while the general director of Amal Educational Institutions, Bilal Zein Al-Din, stressed that building the human being constitutes the basis for building the nation.

The celebration concluded by presenting a shield of appreciation to MP Ali Khreis, then distributing certificates to the successful students.
