The UAE renews its full solidarity with Qatar

The UAE has renewed its full solidarity with Qatar and condemned the Israeli attack that targeted it, describing it as “traveled and cowardly” and a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of an Arab Gulf state and a member of the United Nations, and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional peace and stability.

This attack represents a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter and a serious violation of the basic principles of human rights, according to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”. This came during the urgent discussion held by the United Nations Human Rights Council at the request of the Islamic Cooperation Organization and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Qatar and its standing beside it in the face of everything that targets its security and stability, noting that the security of Qatar is an integral part of the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, and that any attack on a Gulf state represents an attack on the joint Gulf security system.
