In a clear message of deterrence that coincides with the escalation of tension with the United States and Israel, the Iranian Ministry of Defense announced that it had doubled its weapons production capabilities by more than doubling its pre-war level, confirming its readiness to manufacture advanced systems and equipment at an accelerated pace.
In this context, the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Defense, Reza Talaei, confirmed that the production capabilities of defensive weapons have reached a level 2.55 times higher than they were before the confrontation with Washington and Tel Aviv.
Tasnim News Agency quoted Talaei as saying that the production of specific types of weapons has recorded a more than three-fold jump, supported by private sector participation, which reflects the expansion of the country’s military industrial base.
The spokesman warned that any new attempt by opponents to assess what he described as “miscalculations” would be met with a newer arsenal and a harsher escalation in response.
Talaei revealed that the Iranian Armed Forces have identified target banks that can be targeted in the event of a repeated attack, stressing that the ceiling on field readiness has been raised to deal with any possible escalation scenario.
These statements fall within a series of extensive Iranian military messages that have recently focused on developing the missile arsenal in terms of range and speed, as well as strengthening the production lines of drones, ammunition, and defensive systems.
These data also reflect Tehran’s efforts to compensate for what it lost during the confrontations, and to expand its military production capabilities in partnership between the official and private sectors, while the options for confrontation with Washington and Israel remain open to all possibilities.
In conclusion, Tehran reiterates its emphasis on continuing to develop its military and missile capabilities in line with the nature of the existing threats, stressing that any future round of confrontation will be met with broader and more sophisticated responses.
