The deputy of my forces demands a forensic investigator "Catafo Arad" To end the anomaly

Political stances continue calling for uncovering the circumstances of the explosives case and the tunnel discovered in the Fanar area, amid calls for firm judicial action to determine responsibilities and hold those involved accountable.

In this context, MP Ziad Hawat, a member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, said during an interview with “REDTV” that the path followed by “Hezbollah” contradicts the laws and the constitution. He pointed to accusations related to waging futile wars that led to the destruction of the Lebanese economy, all the way to the file of tunnels and illicit trade networks that include drugs, explosives, and expired cancer drugs.

Hawat stressed the need for the judiciary to move firmly and independently to end what he described as the “anomalous situation” that brought Lebanon to its current reality.

Regarding the file of explosives arriving in Lebanon, he demanded that the case be referred to the Judicial Council and that a “competent and broad” judicial judge be appointed to conduct a serious investigation. He stressed that the investigation should not be limited to transporters only, but should extend to the entire system, including the parties instigating and facilitating the transport process.

In response to the news linking the Fanar Tunnel to gold mining, Hawat denounced this proposal by saying: “It is shameful that we speak in this way and in this language,” calling on the security services to put their hands on the violations and reveal the facts, considering that such justifications constitute a disdain for the minds of the Lebanese.
