The Chinese company “DeepSeek” announced the launch of a new open source tool called “DeepInfer”, which aims to reduce the costs of operating artificial intelligence models and accelerate their performance, as well as reduce the consumption of computing resources and energy.
According to what was reported by Bloomberg, this tool allows companies and cloud service providers to benefit from the advanced technologies used by Deep Sec to improve the operating efficiency of its models, in an unusual step given that such methods are usually considered technical secrets monopolized by artificial intelligence companies.
In its work, “DeepInfer” relies on innovative technologies, the most prominent of which is distributing processing operations across multiple devices, which contributes to increasing response speed and enhancing the efficiency of exploiting processor capabilities.
The company explained that the tool currently supports the “DeepSeek V4.1-Flash” model, with plans to expand this support to include other models in the near future.
It is expected that reducing operating costs will enable companies to provide artificial intelligence services at lower competitive prices, paving the way for its wider use in the market.
