A family trip on the road to the town of Haytoura in the Jezzine district turned into a tragedy, following a horrific traffic accident that resulted in the death of the father and the injury of his mother to a head bleed, after the car in which one of her sons was driving, accompanied by his brother, deviated.
According to the representative of the National News Agency in Jezzine, the injured were immediately transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, at a time when immediate details have not yet been issued about the reasons that led to the vehicle’s deviation or the medical accuracy of the health status of the rest of the family members, awaiting the completion of official data and procedures to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
This tragic accident highlights the dangers inherent in the mountainous roads within the Jezzine district, especially in sections characterized by sharp turns and poor visibility, which increases the necessity of adhering to safe speeds and taking caution in line with road conditions.
