The Minister of Social Affairs, Hanin Al -Sayed, visited the Social Services Center in the Dome, Tripoli, where she held a meeting with the center’s administration and listened to the needs of employees and beneficiaries of services, in addition to a meeting with a number of families and persons with disabilities.
The minister emphasized that her visit aims to assess the quality of services provided to Trabelsi and enhance cash aid programs such as the “Aman” program for the poorest families and people with disabilities, explaining that it will open the door for registration soon to benefit from the programs. She also stressed the development of human cadres and securing the necessary budget to provide comprehensive services, and generalize the mechanization to 180 centers in Lebanon to ensure that all centers are linked to the headquarters of the ministry in Badaru. With regard to the late salaries of employees, Minister Al -Sayyid said that it was made in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the salaries will be paid within a week to 10 days for all employees, in addition to the joining of a number of employees to the poverty project for social security after awaiting 12 years. It confirmed that the government is working on a comprehensive study to improve public sector salaries, looking forward to a gradual improvement in the future to enhance job and economic justice.
