The Israeli Broadcasting Authority revealed new details related to the security mechanism to be implemented with Lebanon, noting that a timetable has not yet been set for establishing the two experimental areas that are supposed to constitute the first phase of implementing the security arrangements.
The authority quoted an Israeli official as saying that the experimental phase will not begin before setting clear and specific standards for its implementation, without revealing the nature of these standards or the date of their approval.
She added that the concerned authorities will establish a coordination room that will operate around the clock and without interruption, with the aim of following up on the implementation of the security mechanism, supervising its implementation, and coordinating between the concerned parties.
These statements come in light of the continuation of communications related to security arrangements on the Lebanese border, while no official comment has been issued yet from the Lebanese side regarding what was reported by the Israeli media.
