US President Donald Trump launched a package of political positions through his “Truth Social” platform, during which he touched on sensitive regional and international issues, most notably Iran, Israel, and the future of the Middle East, in conjunction with his declaration of complete and absolute support for Joe Gruters’ continued presidency of the Republican National Committee (RNC).
Regarding the regional issue, Trump considered in a remarkable post that Israel and the entire Middle East region “would not exist today” had it not been for his decisive intervention to prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon. He added: “No one wants to say that, but everyone knows that this is the truth.”
On the party level, Trump announced his full support for Joe Gruters’ candidacy for a new term at the head of the Republican National Committee, praising him as one of the “MAGA movement warriors” who have stood by his side since its inception. He stressed that Gruters succeeded in transforming the committee into an effective and powerful machine capable of supporting the “America First” agenda for many years.
Trump reviewed Gruters’ political career, pointing to his role as a member of the Florida State Senate and head of the Republican Party, where he contributed to achieving historic electoral victories, including Trump winning the state in 2016, 2020, and 2024, with the largest margin of votes in its history. He also noted that Sarasota County chose Gruters as Person of the Year in 2012 and 2015, being the only person to receive this honor twice.
Trump stressed the need for Gruters to return to lead the Republican National Committee to continue building the party, work as a reliable partner in implementing the slogan “Make America Great Again,” and ensure the integrity of the elections. He called on all Republicans to support him, stressing that he adopts the “America First” approach 100% and enjoys the trust of the popular base.
Trump expressed his confidence that Gruters will play an exceptional role until 2028 to achieve major successes for the party throughout the country, concluding by affirming his absolute support by saying: “Joe has my full and absolute support, and he will never let you down.”
