A new competitor is storming the world of artificial intelligence.. Who is it?

The American company “Anthropic” launched its new application, “Claude Duet”, which is a proactive personal assistant powered by artificial intelligence, and is able to carry out tasks semi-autonomously to meet the needs of professionals and small business owners in organizing daily work, following up on appointments, and analyzing information.

According to Reuters, the application is distinguished from traditional chatbots by its ability to monitor applications and services related to the user’s account and automatically identify issues that require attention, without the need to wait for direct directions or orders.

The new assistant provides a package of functions, including preparing a daily summary of the most important developments, organizing meetings, assisting in preparing financial forecasts, as well as contributing to the development of websites and applications.

“Claude Duet” relies on the “Opus 5.5” artificial intelligence model, with its ability to integrate with thousands of services and applications such as “Gmail” and “Slack,” in addition to supporting some electronic purchases. With regard to security, the company confirmed that implementing sensitive procedures requires obtaining prior approval from the user to reduce the risks resulting from granting smart systems broad powers.

Despite these capabilities, Anthropic acknowledged that the app faces some challenges related to prioritizing tasks, as well as that its performance in personal activities, such as booking tickets, needs further improvement.

The company launched the application in its trial phase for eligible “Pro” and “Max” package subscribers in the United States via smartphones and the web platform, within a waiting list system.
