Kfarshouba attacks: The occupation announces the seizure of an explosive device and the monitoring of a military site

The Israeli army announced the implementation of a field operation on the outskirts of the town of Kafr Shuba on the southern front, which, according to its statement, resulted in the discovery of an explosive device, a positioning site, and combat means that it attributed to “Hezbollah,” coinciding with the continuation of tensions and violations along the southern border strip.

According to the statement, forces affiliated with the 810th Mountain Brigade completed, this week, the operation that aimed to search for infrastructure and combat means in the region. The statement indicated that the forces found an explosive device and described it as “ready for activation,” along with a positioning site and other military equipment belonging to the party.

The Israeli army explained that it confiscated the explosive device, without providing additional details about the nature of the targeted location or the size of the seized weapons. At the same time, he stressed the continuation of his military movements to confront what he described as threats on the northern front, stressing that these operations were linked to his commitment to the ceasefire agreement.

This development comes in light of a climate of ongoing field tension in southern Lebanon, where the border areas and villages frequently witness Israeli incursions, bombings, and targeting, in conjunction with the exchange of accusations between the two sides regarding violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
