Amazon invests 14 billion euros in Germany during 2024

Amazon announced, on Thursday, that it has invested about 14 billion euros (16.5 billion dollars) in its operations in Germany during the year 2024, an increase of one billion euros compared to the previous year.
The company said that the investments included the creation of new sites in Horn-Bad Mainberg, Domsstorv and Irfort, noting that it has invested more than 90 billion euros in its operations in Germany since 2010. Rocco Brunone, responsible for Amazon Germany, said that the company intends to continue investing “very intensively” in the region, without revealing specific numbers. Amazon intends to establish three new logistical centers In Betigheim, Konner, and Rohar, to store products before selling them online.
