Khuraish: We are working to support the civil defense elements to carry out their human and national duty

The Director General of Civil Defense received by Brigadier General Imad Khreish, in his office, MP Fadi Karam.
The Directorate’s Information and Public Relations Department stated that “the meeting discussed the conditions related to the affairs of the General Directorate, and ways to enhance the capabilities of civil defense elements to perform their humanitarian and national mission. Khuraish also received Brigadier General Michel Boutros, President of the Northern Akkar Municipalities Union – mayor of Al Qubayat Michel Abdo Abdo, in addition to the President of the Polish Association for International Aid PCPM Rana Gabi, and Engineer John Simon. The meeting dealt with ways of cooperation and coordination between the General Directorate of Civil Defense, Municipalities and NGOs, to serve the public interest and enhance the capabilities of civil defense teams to meet the needs of the region. Likewise, Khuraish, the Director General of Services concerned with fire and relief in the French province of ALLIER, Colonel Philip Sansa and the Director General of Regional Services to Combat Fire and Relief in Aveyron Province French Colonel Michael Lak, accompanied by the French liaison officer delegated to the General Directorate of Lebanese Civil Defense, Colonel Moraran. The discussions dealt with the reality of the Lebanese civil defense, the organization of the Civil Protection Agency in France, and the definition of future cooperation between the two sides.
