The works have been completed by the airport tunnels

In cooperation with the Middle East Airlines – Lebanese Airlines (MEA), the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has completed the fully lighting work of the airport tunnels (Al -Kokudi – Khalda), within the framework of the “Lebanon on the Rail” project aimed at maintaining and rehabilitating roads, bridges and tunnels in various Lebanese regions.
The works included lighting four tunnels in both directions: a tunnel towards Khaldeh, and two other tunnels towards Beirut, in a way that contributes to raising the level of traffic safety and provides a clearer vision for drivers, especially during night hours and difficult climatic conditions. The most important main arteries in the country, which reflects positively on public safety and ease of movement.
