The scream of depositors looked with Al -Asmar to recover rights

The “Cry of Depositors” Association with the President of the General Labor Union, Dr. Bishara Al -Asmar, discussed developments regarding the rights of depositors who lost their savings as a result of the continuous banking crisis in Lebanon.

In this context, the association stressed the necessity of taking urgent steps to ensure the recovery of the depositors’ money and compensate them for the losses it appears, while confirming that this issue affects thousands of Lebanese families and directly affects their daily lives. He also stressed that “the General Labor Union will continue to support depositors and accompany them in all legal and social initiatives to achieve their legitimate demands.” During the meeting, it was also agreed to hold a general conference for depositors at the headquarters of the General Federation on September 12, with the aim of unifying the efforts of depositors, discussing the next practical steps, and intensifying pressure on the relevant authorities to restore financial rights to depositors.
