A bloody attack hits Riyadh Airport: dead, including an American, and hundreds wounded

The General Authority of Civil Aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that at least 12 people were killed and 309 others were injured, as a result of an attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, according to what was reported by Reuters.

The information received indicated that the death toll includes an American citizen and four Saudis, while the nature of the attack or the party behind it is not yet known.

The attack resulted in the complete suspension of navigation and operational operations at the airport, while circulating video clips documented intense movement of ambulances in the vicinity of the site after a strong explosion was heard.
