Egyptian star Mohamed Salah continued his brilliance in the 2026 World Cup, after leading his country to qualify for the round of 16, recording remarkable individual numbers.

The Egyptian team had won the ticket to the final 16 after its victory over Australia 4-2 on penalties, after the end of regular and extra time in a 1-1 draw, in a match held yesterday, Friday, in the round of 32.

According to the “Squawka” website, which specializes in statistics, Salah topped the list of players who created the most chances per 90 minutes among those who played more than 300 minutes in the 2026 World Cup, with a rate of 4.26 chances.

The “Pharaohs” captain also came at the top of the list of players who created the most chances in the tournament with 16 chances, ahead of Belgian Leandro Trossard, who came second with the same score, while Moroccan Achraf Hakimi came third with 14 chances.
