Commenting on the controversy sparked by a film shown on LBC, Avichay Adraee considered that Hezbollah’s reaction reflects “shock” resulting from what he described as the revelation of “the truth.”
Adraee said, via the “X” platform: “Despite reservations about the film that was broadcast on the Lebanese LBC channel, the extent of Hezbollah’s anger was remarkable,” considering that “anger is not the product of a passing drawing or caricature, but rather a reflection of the shock caused by the truth when it rears its head through metaphors.”
He added that the movie “Angry Birds” succeeded, in his words, “in penetrating the wall of propaganda and presenting a visual narrative that the party could not bear to mirror,” noting that “the reaction was revealing of a fragile reality that the party is trying to manage behind slogans.”
He concluded by saying, “Hezbollah, as usual, when confronted with what it describes as the truth, resorts to betraying others and attacking Lebanese religious and national figures and symbols.”
