The West Asian Beach Volleyball Championship was concluded in the port of Batroun, after days of competition with the participation of male and female players from Lebanon and countries of the region.
In the men’s category, the Lebanese duo Jad Abi Karam and Hadi Shabib won first place, the Qataris Musa Al-Khair and Muhammad Ihab came in second place, while the Lebanese Omar Abi Karam and Charbel Al-Khuwairi won third place.
Lebanon recorded complete excellence in the women’s category, as Mirna Sheikho and Lara Al-Nahi were crowned champions, Mervat Hamzy and Nour Hamza came in second place, then Mira Adra and Lara Shabib came in third place.
The final match was attended by MP Gebran Bassil, West Asian Federation President Ali Ghanem Al-Kuwari, and Lebanese Federation President Walid Al-Qassouf, in addition to sporting and local events. The tournament concluded with the distribution of cups, medals and financial prizes to the winners.
