The Israeli military escalation continues in several areas in southern Lebanon, recording a wide wave of heavy artillery shelling, air strikes, and successive bombings that targeted a number of towns and villages.
The correspondent of the “Lebanon Debate” website reported that the heavy artillery shelling targeted the towns of Al-Mansouri and the vicinity of Sarbin, in addition to Wadi Zebqin, Hadada, and the eastern outskirts of Zawtar and Mifdoun.
In parallel field developments, the town of Beni Hayyan witnessed a huge bombing followed by another, while a similar huge bombing was recorded in the town of Taloussa.
The escalation began in the early hours of the morning with artillery shelling targeting the eastern outskirts of Zawtar, coinciding with a bombing in the town of Khiam, and sweeping operations with machine guns towards the town of Beit Yahoun. In Saqqaq air attacks, an Israeli drone launched a raid targeting the Jarmaq area in Jezzine district, specifically the vicinity of the church.
These developments come within the framework of the continuation and intensification of Israeli attacks on southern villages and towns, and the expansion of the scope of targeting to include artillery shelling, destructive operations, and air strikes.
