Al-Hikmah University in Lebanon issued an official statement in which it clarified the truth about the problem that sparked widespread controversy through the media and social media platforms, confirming that it did not occur on its campus and stressing that it was linked to a traffic accident that occurred on the adjacent road.
In the statement issued by the office of the university’s president, Professor Joseph Saab, the administration stressed that “everything that has been circulated regarding this problem is completely inaccurate,” indicating that the incident occurred outside the university’s walls and has nothing to do with it or its students.
The university administration explained that it had taken all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of students and university family members, noting that the educational process continued normally without any interruption.
Al-Hikmah University concluded its statement by thanking everyone who took the initiative to contact us to check in, stressing the necessity of obtaining any information related to the university or its family exclusively from the official administration channels, in response to the conflicting narratives that have spread recently.
