Wahab's comment on "Jordanian deterrence" Defining a potential role for the endosperm

The head of the Arab Tawheed Party, former minister Wiam Wahhab, commented on the air strikes carried out by the Royal Jordanian Air Force in southern Syria, considering that this move reflects the transformation of Syrian territory into a “hotbed of terrorism,” and calling on the Jordanian capital, Amman, to take an “appropriate position.”

In his post on the “X” platform, Wahhab said: “I did not like to discuss the issue of Syria when the Karak massacre occurred, but today’s Jordanian aviation action confirmed what is certain. Syria is a hotbed of terrorism and Jordan must take the appropriate position.” In a separate context, he expressed a remarkable stance towards As-Suwayda Governorate, stressing that it “will be Jordan’s safe and stable backstop.”

These statements come in the wake of a military operation that the Jordanian army called “Jordanian Deterrence – Hamoud,” which targeted the hideouts of extremist organizations in southern Syria, in response to the attack that targeted the Karak Church. The Jordanian army confirmed that this air operation took place in coordination with the Syrian government.
