The Jordanian Progressive Party warns against attempts to divide ranks and harm the country's unity

The Progressive Socialist Party strongly condemned the attack that targeted a funeral procession inside the campus of St. George Church in the Karak Governorate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, considering it a sinful attempt to undermine Jordan’s stability, national unity, and coexistence.

The party explained, in a statement issued by it, that the “cowardly terrorist attack” resulted in the fall of a number of innocent victims, stressing its complete and complete solidarity with Jordan, its king, government and people, in the face of what it described as “miserable attempts to divide Jordanian ranks.”

The “Progressive Socialist Party” extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. He also expressed his complete confidence in the Jordanian authorities and their ability to stand up to any efforts aimed at destabilizing the Kingdom or undermining its social fabric and the unity of its people.

This position comes from a series of Lebanese political and official positions in solidarity with Jordan following the attack that targeted the funeral ceremony in Karak, which was met with a broad rejection of targeting civilians and places of worship, and an absolute emphasis on the importance of maintaining security and stability in the Kingdom.
