The region is entering a very sensitive phase amid the intertwining of political and security files and the rapid pace of developments on various fronts, while Lebanon stands out at the heart of these developments, exposed to their direct repercussions, amid wide anticipation of expected transformations that may shape the features of the next stage.
In this context, journalist Sami Kleib warned, in a blog post on the “X” platform, that “the region and Lebanon are facing a decisive, and perhaps dangerous, two weeks,” noting that this estimate is based on data recently reported by a number of visitors to the capital, Beirut.
Kulaib’s statements gain special importance due to their timing and connotations, especially since they are based on a diplomatic and political atmosphere recently conveyed by visitors to Beirut, which raises the level of caution and anticipation regarding the nature of the next stage, and whether the expected developments will lead to a path of settlement and breakthroughs or will drag the region and Lebanon towards more complexity and escalation.
