Two Israeli soldiers were slightly injured, today, Saturday, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device planted by Hezbollah that targeted an Israeli army engineering vehicle in the security zone in southern Lebanon, according to what the Israeli army spokeswoman, Ella Wawiyeh, announced to the Arab media.
Wawiya said in a statement published on the “X” platform that the two injured soldiers were transferred to receive the necessary medical treatment, noting that the Israeli army immediately responded by attacking a number of infrastructure and reconnaissance sites belonging to Hezbollah in several areas of southern Lebanon, which the party members were said to have used to prepare and implement plans against the Israeli forces.
Wawiyeh confirmed that the Israeli army continues its deployment in the security zone in southern Lebanon in accordance with the concluded agreement, stressing its commitment to continue working to remove the threats directed against Israeli citizens and forces.
The spokeswoman concluded by emphasizing that the Israeli army is working in the meantime, and will continue to work forcefully and decisively in the face of Hezbollah’s repeated attempts to harm its forces.
