Vice President of the Future Movement and President of the Hariri Foundation, Bahia Hariri, honored the Lebanese expatriate Faisal Abu Ali, during a tribute lunch she held at her home in Beit Al-Wasat, in the presence of members of his family, in appreciation of his expatriate career and the continued connection it reflected with Lebanon and loyalty to its causes.
The honor also came in appreciation of Abu Ali’s steadfast position alongside the Future Movement and its leadership, and his support for the national approach represented by the movement, in addition to his presence among the Lebanese diaspora.
The meeting was an opportunity to emphasize the importance of the role played by the Lebanese in the countries of expansion, not only in economic and social terms, but also in preserving their connection to the homeland, keeping pace with its issues, and strengthening Lebanon’s presence in diaspora communities.
The meeting also reflected the importance of continuing communication between residents and expatriates, as the Lebanese diaspora constitutes a national, economic and social lever, and a supportive space for Lebanon at various stations and entitlements.
