Mystery surrounds the fate of Ibn al-Minya... Official action after the disappearance of a young Lebanese man in Australia

Former MP Kazem Al-Khair intensified his contacts to follow up on the case of the disappearance of the young Lebanese man, Khaled Omar Malas, from the city of Minya, in the Australian city of Melbourne, after receiving information about his disappearance, as part of an effort to uncover the circumstances of the case and find out his fate.

Al-Khair held a series of contacts with the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Ambassador Abdel Sattar Issa, and the Lebanese Ambassador to Australia, Mirna Al-Khouli, in addition to the Lebanese Embassy in Australia and activities of the Lebanese community, especially the people of Minya in Melbourne, to find out the latest developments and available data.

During his contacts, Al-Khair stressed the need to follow up on the case at the highest levels, calling on the concerned Lebanese authorities to continue communication and coordination with the competent Australian authorities, and to accelerate search and investigation operations to uncover the circumstances of the disappearance of young Malas and determine his fate.

Al-Khair stressed that the Malas case is receiving follow-up and attention, stressing the importance of intensifying efforts and communications between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Lebanese Embassy in Australia, and the relevant Australian authorities, to reach the truth and reassure his family and the people of his city.

The search for the young Lebanese man in Melbourne continues, amidst ambiguity still surrounding his fate, while official and popular communications continue to follow up on the case and reveal its details.
