A severe beatings and a threat of death … This is what happened with a member of an environmental association in Lebanon

A member of an environmental association in the town of Miraba was severely beaten by a number of crushing owners wanted by security forces and hidden from view, and also received a death threat.
The association, which is active in defending Miuba, appealed to confront crushing owners and the distortion of their work for the mountains, pollution of groundwater, the judicial and security authorities, the immediate movement and the taking of the necessary measures to protect activists and stop the abuses and repeated threats.
