Temperatures exceed seasonal averages, with remarkable warmth preceding Saturday’s weather fluctuations

Today, Friday, October 23, 2026, Lebanon continues to be under the influence of stable, clear to few cloudy autumn weather with high clouds, coinciding with an additional rise in temperatures to exceed their seasonal rates, and a relative decrease in humidity, with occasional wind activity and an absence of precipitation expectations during the day.

The maximum and minimum temperatures on the coast range between 21 and 32 degrees, in the mountainous areas between 13 and 27 degrees, and in the interior between 13 and 30 degrees. The capital, Beirut, recorded between 23 and 31 degrees, Tripoli and Tire between 21 and 32 degrees, Baysour between 15 and 27 degrees, Cordoba between 13 and 25 degrees, and Zahle between 13 and 30 degrees.

Northwest winds blow at speeds between 15 and 35 km/h, while coastal humidity ranges between 60 and 80%. Visibility remains generally good, while the sea is rough, the water surface temperature reaches 27 degrees Celsius, and the atmospheric pressure registers 1020 hectopascals.

Global forecasts match this stable and dry atmosphere in Beirut, where temperatures during the day touch 28 to 29 degrees, dropping at night to about 22-24 degrees, amid scattered clouds and a very weak possibility of rainfall.

The weather scene will witness a gradual change tomorrow, Saturday, with the weather turning partly cloudy with a rise in humidity and a drop in temperatures, and fog forming on the mountain highlands. The chances of scattered rain are also high in the afternoon in the interior regions, especially the northeast of the country, and may sometimes be accompanied by lightning, thunder, and the possibility of hailstones.

The weather on Sunday will remain partly cloudy with fog continuing to form in the highlands, with stable temperatures and chances of precipitation remaining limited and local.

It is noteworthy that atmospheric warming will reach its peak today, Friday, before temperatures begin to decline starting on Saturday, accompanied by a rise in humidity and the possibility of recording local fluctuations in the interior regions.
