The Director General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. Mohamed Karaki, in his office yesterday, a delegation from Touch and Alfa included: Rafik Al-Haddad, General Manager of Alfa, Karim Salam, General Manager of Touch, Rami Al-Battini, Director of Personnel Affairs at Touch, Chantal Hayek, Legal Director at Touch, Paula Assaf, Director of Personnel Affairs at Alfa, and Jean Al-Helou, Director of Legal Affairs at Alfa.

The meeting was devoted to discussing appropriate ways to secure the process of paying end-of-service compensation to employees working for the two companies, paying the settlement amounts due from them, and finding balanced solutions that preserve the rights of employees, take into account the conditions of the two companies’ administrations, and at the same time preserve the role of the National Social Security Fund in protecting the social rights of the insured.

The meeting prevailed in a positive and cooperative atmosphere, and a set of appropriate steps and measures were agreed upon to address the outstanding issues with the guarantee, which will be presented to the concerned authorities, to put them into effect and begin paying end-of-service compensation to employees working in the two cellular companies.
