Berqadrian launches an interactive electronic platform under the slogan “Your Voice is Heard” to empower youth

The Lebanese Ministry of Youth and Sports seeks to enhance the role of youth and develop their programs, by formulating strategies and initiatives aimed at strengthening the relationship between them and the state, and expanding the scope of their participation, in addition to preparing joint programs with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

In this regard, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Noura Bayrkadrian, received a delegation from UNICEF headed by Abeer Abu Zaki. The two sides discussed the ongoing preparations for joint programs between the two sides that extend for the years (2028-2038).

Minister Bayrkadrian presented to the delegation the most prominent projects led by the Ministry, particularly the youth and sports strategies, noting that the youth strategy will be officially launched immediately upon completion of the series of participatory meetings with youth in various Lebanese regions.

Bayrkadrian stressed that “the Lebanese youth now have a ministry that takes care of their affairs and listens to their aspirations,” pointing to the achievements achieved to date, most notably the launch of the “responsible citizenship” path, which the ministry continues to work on developing as it is an essential entry point for consolidating the relationship between the state and the youth group.

In a related context, the Minister revealed the imminent launch of an interactive electronic platform, which aims to provide a space for mutual communication between the Ministry and youth, which will contribute to strengthening channels of dialogue and interaction with them.

Bayrkadrian concluded by stressing the pivotal importance of rebuilding trust between youth and state institutions, stressing that “trust is only built by working in the interest of Lebanon’s youth,” and that it represents the cornerstone for achieving national belonging and completing youth reconciliation with state institutions.
