New procedures for "Middle East" For passengers traveling from Riyadh to Beirut

Middle East Airlines – Lebanese Airlines announced a package of new procedures and regulations for passengers departing from the Saudi capital, Riyadh, towards Beirut, at the request of the Saudi authorities at Riyadh Airport.

The company explained in a statement issued on Sunday, November 1 (in reference to its statement No. 4), that passengers on these lines must arrive at the airport a full 4 hours before the scheduled departure time, to avoid any delay.

According to the new mechanism, passengers and their luggage were allowed to be dropped off exclusively at the second level of parking (Parking Level -2), with a complete ban on unloading passengers on the roads adjacent to the airport halls. Passengers must then go with their luggage to the area designated for check-in and baggage delivery on the ground floor (Level 0).

After completing travel procedures, passengers move to the first level of the parking lot (Parking Level -1) to wait for the announcement that the plane is ready for passengers to board.

The company stated that the security and customs services will summon passengers in batches of 30 people each to complete the final procedures, and they will then be transported directly via designated buses to the plane.

Middle East Airlines confirmed that its crews and employees will be available to accompany passengers throughout the travel stages and provide them with the necessary support and answer their inquiries.

These exceptional operational arrangements come in response to the directives of the Saudi authorities at Riyadh Airport, which requires passengers to fully adhere to the specified dates and routes to ensure the smooth flow of travel. The company had previously issued amendments related to its flights to Riyadh, before issuing these detailed instructions to organize the movement of departures step by step until boarding the plane.
