The absence crisis haunts Al-Nasr and doubles the pressure before the NEOM clash

The Saudi Al-Nasr team is missing the services of three of its most prominent players; They are: Muhammad Simakan, Kingsley Coman, and Abdul Rahman Ghareeb, during his upcoming confrontation against his counterpart NEOM, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at the “Awal Park” stadium in Riyadh, within the tenth round of the Saudi Roshan League, against the backdrop of various injuries that kept them away from the accounts of the technical staff led by Australian coach Angie Postecoglou.

The absence of the duo, Coman and Gharib, was officially confirmed. Koeman suffers from an injury to the posterior thigh muscle, which forced him to leave the last match against Uzbekistan’s Neftchi Ferghana in the 13th minute, while doubts loom over the readiness of defender Simakan, who suffered an injury during the same Asian confrontation that ended with the Nasraoui team’s victory with a score of (3-1).

These absences put the technical staff in front of a real challenge to find suitable alternatives, especially in light of the lack of offensive options represented by Koeman and Gharib, in addition to the absence of Simakan, who is a mainstay in the team’s back line.

Al-Nasr goes into the match while occupying third place in the Roshen League standings with 19 points collected from 8 matches, with 6 victories, one draw and one loss, seeking to continue its positive results and pursue the leading teams. On the other hand, NEOM enters the match occupying fifth place with 16 points from 9 matches, after achieving 5 victories, one draw and three defeats, aspiring to emerge with a positive result against one of the tournament’s most prominent competitors.
