Tehran waves infrastructure, showing off an American arsenal it seized

The Supreme Advisor to the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naghdi, escalated the tone of Iranian messages directed to the United States, declaring that Tehran possesses models and technology for the American bomb weighing 14 tons. These statements came during the “Iranian Fedayeen” maneuver in the city of Sari in the north of the country, in response to missile threats and the possibility of using what is known as the “Mother of All Bombs.”

Naghdi explained that the bomb technology is now fully in Iran’s possession, along with the country that manufactured it, noting that some of these bombs were dropped during the June 2024 war, which lasted 12 days and did not explode, which enabled Iranian forces to seize them and study their technologies.

In a direct warning message to Washington, Naghdi affirmed the readiness of the Iranian armed forces to respond to any attack, threatening that “if any mistake is made,” investments related to the infrastructure and energy projects of the aggressors in the region will be placed within the scope of operational targeting.

In a related context, Naghdi’s statements coincided with the announcement by the new Iranian Defense Minister, Mehrdad Akhlaqi, that an Iranian heavy fighter built by the Ministry’s Air Defense Organization will carry out its first take-off next year. These developments come within the framework of a continuous escalation of Iranian military messages that combine showing off the possession of advanced American weapons technologies, and threatening to target regional energy interests, in parallel with the development of air capabilities.
