Security tension in Baalbek following an individual conflict and operations to pursue the shooters
The Al-Asira area in the city of Baalbek witnessed security tension, against the backdrop of an individual dispute that developed into intense shooting in the air, with no casualties recorded until the noon hours.
In detail, the correspondent of the “Lebanon Debate” website reported that the individual problem quickly escalated to the use of firearms, which required immediate intervention from the Lebanese army units that were deployed in the region.
The army force worked to control the security situation and calm the atmosphere, in parallel with carrying out raids and pursuit operations to arrest those involved in the shooting, while the military services continued their field procedures to ensure the stability of the region and prevent any possible repercussions.
