The Nabatieh Governmental Serail was officially named “State Security Martyrs’ Serail,” in memory of 13 martyrs from the General Directorate of State Security, who were martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression on the city on April 10, 2026, in a move that reflects fulfillment of their great sacrifices while performing their national duty.
The naming ceremony took place under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, who unveiled the memorial plaque dedicated to the martyrs, in the presence of the Deputy Director General of State Security, Brigadier General Murshid Al Haj Suleiman, along with a crowd of ministers, official, security and military figures, and local figures, as well as the families of the martyrs.
By the way, the General Directorate of State Security – Department of Information, Guidance and Public Relations confirmed that this step comes in tribute to those who gave their lives in the service of the nation, and to immortalize their names in the memory of the institution and the state, renewing its firm commitment to continuing the path of duty and protecting the security of the nation and citizens.
