A massive fire broke out on Sunday afternoon in the Wadi Issa area in the town of Benu Akkar, while firefighting teams continue their efforts to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas.
The Lebanon Debate correspondent reported that civil defense teams, with the support of the first responder team in the Jouma Municipalities Union, rushed to the fire site and began extinguishing operations, amid intense efforts to contain the fire and limit its expansion.
Firefighting operations are continuing at the site, while the causes of the fire or the extent of the damage it caused are not yet known.
