A new Lebanese-Emirati partnership...a program to prepare future leaders

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, in partnership with the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in the United Arab Emirates, launched the second batch of the “Executive Government Leadership” program, in a step aimed at developing administrative capabilities and building government leadership capable of keeping pace with the challenges of the next stage.

The launch of the program comes within the framework of the strategic partnership between Lebanon and the Emirates, and within the path of existing cooperation between the two countries in the governmental and administrative fields, especially the exchange of experiences and best practices and raising the level of preparedness for the future.

The program aims to develop and modernize government work, and enable executive leaders to deal with challenges and rapid changes, by transforming acquired knowledge and experiences into practical initiatives with a tangible and sustainable impact, in line with the Lebanese government’s priorities in achieving a more efficient and effective public administration.

The government confirmed that the program constitutes a prominent milestone in the path of bilateral relations between Lebanon and the Emirates, and reflects the keenness of both sides to strengthen cooperation in the areas of developing government work and building human and institutional capabilities.

The program also stresses the importance of investing in leadership and human energies as a fundamental pillar for enhancing the culture of innovation and excellence within state institutions, and developing administrative performance in a way that contributes to building an administration more capable of responding to future requirements and achieving sustainability.
