Episode 315 of Economy, with the researcher specializing in international and petroleum law, Dr. Khadija Hakim, discussed the file of maritime border demarcation and oil and gas wealth, in light of questions about the legal relationship between the framework agreement and the maritime border demarcation agreement that was completed in 2022.
The episode discussed the legal nature of the framework agreement, whether it could constitute an entry point for renegotiating or amending the terms of the 2022 agreement, and what is the legal reference in the event that any new clause conflicts with the previous agreement.
