President Aoun begins his international meetings in New York

The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, will start this afternoon New York time (seven in the evening Beirut time) his meetings at the United Nations headquarters with a number of heads of state and delegations participating in the work of the United Nations General Assembly, which this year coincides with the anniversary of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the international organization. It will be an occasion to exchange opinions and data on developments in Lebanon and the region, in addition to bilateral relations between Lebanon and these countries.
Aoun held yesterday evening (New York time) at dawn today (Beirut time) a meeting with a number of Lebanese businessmen in New York who asked a wide range of questions related to the situation in Lebanon, including the file of negotiations with the International Monetary Fund, the conditions in the south, and the infrastructure, in addition to issues of digital transformation, the Internet and the mechanism of the expatriate polling in the next electoral entitlement. The expatriates Youssef Raji and the Lebanon Ambassador in Washington Nada Hamada Moawad and the advisor to the President of the Republic, splendor of Harai, was touched on the regional situation, the role of the Lebanese army and the responsibilities assigned to him, and the reconstruction file of the south.
